Off to Los Angeles today!
Had a good buffet to start the day and then on our way. Lots of driving though there was plenty to see and we entertained ourselves with The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy and some music playlists my wife had made for our trip. Once we got closer to Los Angeles we tuned into KLOS for a bit of rock-and-roll.
We stopped on the way at In-N-Out Burger. Tasty and quick; a nice hybrid between fast-food and a burger from a sit-down restaurant.
Finally arrived at The Garland; had time for swim in the pool and grabbed a bite to eat at the restaurant. A great place to stay and we got a good night’s sleep ready for an early start.
